This Steam Loco is an A1 Class LNER Pacific 4-6-2 No. 60128 Bongrace.
Up to Scotland now and into the shed at Edinburgh St Margaret's. The date is circa 1961 as A1 Pacific No. 60128 simmers gently in line outside the shed building. The locomotive designed by Peppercorn was built for British Railways in May 1949. Its last shed was Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in January 1965 and scrapped the following month at Drapers, Neptune Street Goods Yard in Hull.
