Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a 9F 2-10-0 No. 92234. The same location as the previous shot. But this time. A sturdy 9F passes Wellington Signal Box with a mixed goods in 1966. The Riddles locomotive was built at Crewe Works in August 1958. This powerful engine with a life expectancy of at least 30 years was withdrawn from Birkenhead Mollington Street in December 1966 and scrapped at Campbells of Airdrie 3 months later at the ripe old age of 8.
