Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive.
This Steam Loco is a Black 5 4-6-0 No. 45070.
A nice crisp shot of a Black 5 on the Springs Branch in Wigan Turntable in 1963 as the driver takes opportunity to let off a little steam. The locomotive was built at Crewe Works going into service in May 1934. It had many allocations ending up at Warrington Dallam from where it was withdrawn in May 1967 and scrapped 2 months later at Cohens of Kettering.
