Nearing the end. An Ivatt Class 4MT 2-6-0 No. 43065 heads an M&GN train at Spalding on 21st February 1959 less than 2 weeks before the whole system closed. Affectionately known as Mucky Ducks or Doodle Bugs. These rather less than beautiful locos were the mainstay of the M&GN in the 1950s.
