Hardley Distant on Train Siding: CURRENT: Today, along with @Whistlestopper we made a stop on the way back from Carlisle to Appleby to see the Steam Railtour

CURRENT: Today, along with @Whistlestopper we made a stop on the way back from Carlisle to Appleby to see the Steam Railtour at Armathwaite Station (see earlier Post!) and whilst there we went ot check out the restored Signal Box at the Station which although closed for visitors, did allow us a look from the outside.

In Photos 1 & 2 the Box is seen from close up (Photo 1) and from the end of the Station platform (Photo 2).
