A Latvian M62 Diesel with a rebuilt ΔME3ME Class switcher, captured in frame are heading into the Krustpils town limits, light power from Daugavpils. The crew once they arrived with the duo at the LDZ Cargo Offices in Krustpils, shut off the units for the day and went home π‘ Usually unit duets like these, coming out of Daugavpils for Krustpils are usually used for the Krustpils to Gulbene local which operates once / two times a week depending on the volume of freight that needs to be moved. A week before I took this picture the Gulbene local was operated by two M62's instead of the usual M62 + Switcher duet. Making this local for a while a rare treat for Railfans to catch...
