Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a NB J36 0-6-0 No. 65267. Now we have a venerable engine that worked on the railways of Britain for 74 years, 4 months and 1 day. It is seen here complete with battered snowplough in Bathgate MPD in Edinburgh in 1964. it was built for the North British Railway in July 1892 at the Cowlairs Works. It was finally withdrawn from Bathgate in November 1966 and scrapped at Arnot Young of Old Kilpatrick in April 1967. Rather sad really.
