Taking my sweet time touching up the paint on this old wood caboose. Originally built for the ERIE railroad it was sold off and eventually purchased by the Arcade & Attica and designated as #304. The caboose ran on freights, and on some of the first passenger excursions in '62. In the late 1970's it was sold into private ownership and eventually found its way to community restoration and now public display adjacent to an NH "Ice Cream Shop" caboose. I've been volunteering to touch up the paint and have been working it around both my schedule and the weather, which recently has been quite rainy.
