I've just realized today that I've never posted this photo. And it's one of my favorites from Summer of 2022 π I don't have any fresh photos as of recent so let's jump into a time machine and travel back a few moons shall we? β°π As the night sets over northern Texas a former Ontario Northland 40-2 π¨π¦ now in full ITSX Red, pulls out a cut of loaded auto racks out of the Alliance Autorack Facility in order to grab another freshly loaded cut of racks destined to head south the next day β Like mentioned just before, this SD40-2 was built for the Ontario Northland Railway in 1974 where it would work for its first owner till 2002 when ONR retired the engine for good. 3 years later the engine would be sold to PRSX in Georgia where it sat in the same place till 2015 when finally it's last and current owner - ITSX, bought the engine for use on switching the BNSF Intermodal and Autorack facility in Alliance, TX.
