The AEI Associated Electrical Industries building to the east of the West Coast Main Line ex LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 45615 Malay States heads a down express out of the station on 22nd July 1961. Then allocated to Newton Heath 26A. This loco was withdrawn at the end of 1962.
