This Steam Loco is an 8F. No.48103.
The Fireman casually leans out of the cab window as his light engine heads north of Warrington in 1966. The engine was built at Crewe Works going into service during February 1939. The last shed was Derby from where it was withdrawn in October 1966 and scrapped the following February.
