Closure of the famous Stainmore Line was on 22nd January 1962. However as there was no Sunday Service. The last trains ran on 20th January. A special was organised by the RCTS to be the last train to traverse the route and was doubled headed by BR Standard Class 3MT 2-6-0 No. 77003 and BR Standard Class 4MT 2-6-0 No. 76049. The Westbound Special is seen here crossing the famous Belah Viaduct.
