An ex LNER Class A3 4-6-2 No. 60056 Centenary arrives at London Kings Cross with an up express on Saturday Afternoon on 21st October 1961. It was designed by Nigel Gresley. They were destined for the scrapheap with the arrival of the Deltic Diesels on the East Coast Main Line.
