Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Standard Class 4. 75014. Standard 75014 heads out of Shrewsbury past Sutton Bridge Signal Box for the Cambrian Coast in 1963 with a passenger train. The infrastructure of the old railways can be seen here from the water stand pipe with its small brazier to fight off the frost to the myriad of lines going off in all directions. The locomotive was built during November 1951 and it was withdrawn from Shrewsbury on 31st December 1966. It doesn't end here though. It was one of the lucky engines sent for scrap at Barry Scrapyard where it resided until 1981 when rescue arrived in the form of a syndicate affiliated to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and by 1994. It was back in steam. The then owner sold it to the Dartmouth Steam Railway in 2002 who named it Braveheart. After more work. The locomotive was ready for business in 2016 and is now a frequent visitor to the main lines of Britain with a boiler certificate that runs until 2026.
