Here's a story about these Steam Locomotives. These Steam Locos are 2x Pannier Tanks and 8F No. 48665 at Croes Newydd Shed. A very atmospheric shed scene here at a completely run down Croes Newydd Shed in 1967. The 2 Pannier Tanks have the shed plate 6C painted on. At the time. There were 3 saddle tanks allocated to Croes Newydd Nos. 1628, 3709 and 9630. The 8F 48665 was built at Brighton Works in March 1944 and was withdrawn at the end of steam in August 1968 from Rose Grove and was scrapped in the same month. At the time of the photograph. It was probably also based at Croes Newydd which closed on 5th June 1967. So the dereliction was understandable.
