Here's a story about these Steam Locomotives.
These Steam Locos are 8F. No.48476 and Standard Black 5 4-6-0 No.73069.
It is 4th August 1968 and these two coupled locomotives are about to be joined by a banker on the form of Type 2 Bo Bo Class Diesel Number D7513 as they await their tour of duty. It is on an end of steam special organised by the Railway Correspondence and Travel Society as the end of steam commemorative rail tour.
