Here's a story about Moore Lane Bridge. Moore South of Warrington on a busy Summer Saturday. No numbers here. But what does it matter such an excellent 1964 photograph of a busy scene. A BR Standard Class 4-6-0 heads a passenger train whilst an unidentified steam engine waits with its mixed goods on a 2 road storage siding. This line was mainly used for freight trains awaiting to slot in between the busy Chester and North Wales Trains. Travelling in the same direction on the main line is a Period Diesel Railcar.
