Today marked the last ever great western departure from Brighton, the last desiel multiple unit you could ride in West Sussex.

Myself among other enthusiasts in the area have a special place for this train and ever since hearing ealier this year about the withdrawal we've been out most days!

This is a iconic service because it links the West coastway with so many other parts of the uk without having to change.
