An ex Great Northern Railway Class D3 4-4-0 No. 4077 gets ready to leave Kirkby Stephen East with the 16:20pm from Penrith to Darlington train on 7th June 1935. The last D3 was withdrawn by BR in 1951. But none of this class has been preserved.
