A Ferryhills Peppercorn Class A2 4-6-2 No. 60532 Blue Peter passes Kinnaber Junction with the 13:30pm from Aberdeen to Glasgow express on 30th July 1966. The loco was withdrawn at the end of the year. Following a campaign by the BBC Children's TV Programme of the same name. It was saved for restoration and can now be seen at Barrow Hill Engine Shed in Derbyshire.
