One of many ÖBBs 1216 Class electrics, numbered 025 is seen pulling the daily Verona Puerta Nova 🇮🇹 to Munich 🇩🇪 RailJet train with the new Siemens "Vectrain" set in tow. The train is captured at the famous Gries am Brenner curve while en route to Innsbruck 🇦🇹 The engine in the photo broke the world record for the fastest electric locomotive, reaching 357 km/h on September 2, 2006.
