This Steam Loco is a Fowler 0-6-0 4F No. 44237.
One of the ubiquitous Fowler 0-6-0 engines runs tender first on a trip freight through Warrington Bank Quay Station to the low level sidings north of the station in 1962. The engine was built at Derby Works going into service in March 1926. It was withdrawn from Warrington Dallam in March 1963 and scrapped at CC Crump Limited of Connahs Quay on 30th April 1964.
