Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Riddles 4F 2-6-0 No. 43139. A rather more powerful engine than the usual station pilot. But this is what was on offer at Carlisle Station on 13th February 1965. Also known as a Flying Pig or Mucky Duck. This HG Ivatt engine is being admired by a group of enthusiasts. It was built at Doncaster Works in July 1951 and its last shed was Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in September 1967 and cut up at Motherwell Machinery and Scrap in February 1968.
