Superpower at Axminster for the 1 coach train to Lyme Regis. An ex LSWR Class 0415 4-4-2Ts Nos 30582 and 30583 stand in the bay platform with a good head of steam on 17th August 1957. Ideal for travelling round the tight curves of the Lyme Regis Branch. These veteran radial tank locos were introduced in 1882 with 3 member's remaining in service on the Lyme Regis branch until 1962. No. 30583 seen here was later preserved and can be seen as a static exhibit on the Bluebell Railway.
