Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a No. 46115 Scots Guardsman. Here we have a good shot of a very tidy Royal Scot at Hellifield Station. The date is 13th February 1965 and the engine is at the head of the RCTS Rebuilt Scot Commemorative Tour. No. 46115 was assisted by Black 5 44822 from Crewe to Wigan, Wigan to Blackburn, Blackburn to Carlisle and return to Crewe. The latter was built at Derby Works during December 1944 and withdrawn from Newton Heath on 31st October 1967 before being scrapped at Cashmores of Newport on 31st May 1968.
