Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 45705 Seahorse. Details about Seahorse have already appeared in this book. But an excellent photo such as this cannot be missed. Enthusiasts are all over the track at Cheadle Heath Station in September 1965 as Seahorse waits to take over from Flying Scotsman on the LCGB High Peak Railtour. The original was scrapped at Cashmores of Great Bridge in 1966. But a beautiful 3 and a half inch gauge model can be seen on the Pembrey Miniature Railway in Carmarthenshire. After a recent full service. It is now a perfect miniature of this engine.
