This a post card given to a number of Queensland Rail employees for the 50th anniversary (1953 -2003) of the Sunlander. The Sunlander ran Brisbane to Cairns on Queensland's North Coast line, a total run of 1681km. It was one of the trains I worked as onboard electrician, although with newer locos. The Sunlander doesn't run anymore, being replaced by the Spirit of Queensland diesel tilt train.
