A BR Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 73100 negotiates Lostock Hall Junction south of Preston with the Summer Saturdays from Dundee to Blackpool train on 9th July 1966. To save running round the train at Preston. The passengers were treated to a circular tour first entering the East Lancashire side of the station from the north. Then going round the junctions to the south of Preston before heading north again back through the station. Then finally taking the Blackpool Line.
