Looking very handsome with its train of Chocolate and Cream MK 1 Coaches. The down Cornishman express from Wolverhampton Low Level to Penzance approaches Bodmin Road Station behind a County Class 4-6-0 No. 1002 County of Berks on Whit Monday on 18th May 1959. The train would have taken a journey that is no longer possible via Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham Spa Malvern Road and Gloucester Eastgate and would have involved engine changes at Bristol and Plymouth.
