Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Standard Class 2 2-6-0 No. 78037. It's 1964 and this 10 ten year old engine enters Preston Station with a short trip freight consisting of 2 wagons and a guards van. Not the most lucrative job. But no doubt it will be added to later to give the guard more to do. The Riddles Designed engine was built at Darlington Works in November 1954. It's last shed was Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in May 1967 and scrapped at Motherwell Machinery and Scrap 6 months later. These small class of Moguls are the smallest of the standard classes and could be found on the country line's especially in Wales. The DJH Model Company reproduced this particular locomotive. The models come in kit form and are made to order.
