L&N K7 4-6-2 No. 295 built 1925 by Alco and streamlined 30s-50s for service on PRR-L&Ns "South Wind" passenger service, originally painted white and red to match L&N cars it was later painted to match PRRs P70 passenger car fleet also special about 295 is she was the only engine of the K7 class, it was the only engine to be equipped with a third cylinder (first photo, later removed for streamlined passenger service.) and by far L&Ns most famous locomotive, second that to L&Ns M1 "Big Emma" series. #photo #train #steam #depot #station #crossing #junction #roundhouse
