Today I accidentally at the cite https://parovoz.com/ I've read the information that today's day is in fact days of birth of the series of #2TE116 diesel locomotives, because that day 3 March of 1971 (52 years ago) was built two-section diesel locomotive #2TE116_001 by Lugansk Diesel Locomotive Works (LuhanskTeplovoz plant / that called as Voroshilovgrad Diesel Locomotive Works) with capacity of 3060 horse powers at the each section. It worth to notice that at Post-Soviet area #2TE116 series of diesel locomotive has such nicknames as "Boeing" (because of voice of the engine) and "Phantomas". These photos for this post I've borrowed at this link https://parovoz.com/newgallery/pg_view.php?ID=3014&LNG=RU#picture https://parovoz.com/newgallery/pg_view.php?ID=699284&LNG=RU&fbclid=IwAR3-a-P-iJAcsJJRgNWabcTkr7fUbgEmxvuSxyY_h9uzph01JH8WpjPua6U#picture Also it worth notice that thanks for Russian occupants Luhansk diesel locomotive works was destroyed, from this plant in best case was remain just bare walls #Ukraine #LuhanskTeplovoz #2TE116 #Diesel #DieselLocomotive
