Here's a story about these Steam Locomotives.
These Steam Locos are Hughes Fowler Crab 2-6-0 No. 42940 alongside Black 5. 44836.
Stockport Edgeley MPD now in 1964 and a Hughes Fowler Crab stands in steam next to a 5MT. The crab was built at Crewe Works in December 1932 and it's last shed was this one from where it was withdrawn on 25th September 1965 and cut up at TW Ward of Killamarsh 3 months later. The Stanier Black 5 was also built at Crewe Works with this as the last shed. It was also cut up by TW Ward. But at the Beighton Scrapyard.
