A Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44935 leaves Stranraer Harbour Station alongside Loch Ryan with the 13:40pm train for Dumfries on 12th July 1963. The long train of flat wagons indicates the amount of container freight traffic to and from Northern Ireland that was once handled by the railway here. Now it all goes by Road.
