This Steam Loco is a Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44853.
An ex words Black 5 at Crewe Station in 1963. No. 44853 shunts the parcels trains. It was built at Crewe Works going into service during November 1944. It's first and last British Rail Shed was Leeds Holbeck from where it was withdrawn in June 1967 and scrapped at Cohens of Kettering 5 months later.
