Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive.
This Steam Loco is a Jubilee 4-6-0 No. 45732 Sanspareil.
An atmospheric photo taken at Preston in 1962. No. 45732 Sanspareil awaits the off and it looks like the driver is taking a well deserved cat nap. The locomotive was built at Crewe Works in October 1936 and was withdrawn from Stockport Edgeley in February 1964. It was scrapped at GW Butler of Otley on 31st August 1964.
