A BR Standard Class 7MT Britannia 4-6-2 No. 70027 once named Rising Star. But now devoid of nameplates attacks Shap Bank near Scout Green Signal Box with the 13:27PM from Liverpool Lime Street to Glasgow Central express on 17th June 1967. This was the last summer of steam haulage on the West Coast Main Line and the loco was withdrawn only 3 months later.
