Mat '36 252 in het spoorwegmuseum. From 1936 on NS dutch railways got 90 of these emu's for use on the newly electrified central network, connecting east and west via Utrecht on a fixed timetable: every hour, reaching 125 km/h. They where the fourth generation of electric trains in the country. Number 252 survived and after a long process of renovation can now be seen at the railway museum in Utrecht. These shots were taken on my visit a few weeks ago. Imho she looks great! Respect to those involved in the restoration!
