Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Royal Scot Class 4-6-0 No. 46115 Scots Guardsman. Scots Guardsman was one of the 2 Royal Scot Engines that would be preserved. But here we look at the locomotive as it heads the evening parcels train northbound near Moore in late 1965. Built at the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow in 1927 and withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor on 1st January 1966. This Fowler designed engine was rebuilt by Stanier during LMS days and fitted with a Taper Boiler, Double Chimney and new Cylinders.
