This Steam Loco is a Britannia Class 7 4-6-2 No. 70028 Royal Star.
Minus nameplates. Royal Star heads south over the Mersey Bridge at the 12 Arches near Warrington in 1966. The locomotive was built at Crewe Works going into service on 27th October 1952. It was withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor in September 1966 and scrapped at J McWilliams of Shettleston 4 months later.
