A Southbound train behind Somerset & Dorset locomotive No. 53809 and a BR Standard Class 4. 4-6-0 arrives at Evercreech Junction on 1st September 1962. Through trains from the north to Bournemouth ceased running at the end of the summer timetable. The 7F was saved after spending 11 years at Woodhams Scrapyard in Barry. Restored to working condition. It can be seen at the Midland Railway Centre in Butterley.
