Here's a story about this Steam Locomotive. This Steam Loco is a Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 45626 Seychelles. Leeds City Station on 3rd October 1964 and Jubilee Class No. 45626 pulls into the station bearing the head code lights for a passenger train, breakdown train and newspaper train watched by a large crowd of enthusiasts. Seychelles was built at Crewe Works in November 1930 and withdrawn from Leeds Holbeck in November 1965 being cut up at TW Ward of Killamarsh 2 months later. Also in the photograph is Stanier Tank No 42189 and the Peak Class Diesel D190. The Fairburn Tank was built at Derby Works in November 1947 and withdrawn from Normanton for cutting up at Cashmores of Great Bridge in May 1968. D190 was built by BR Derby and introduced in January 1963. It later received the TOPS number 46053 and was withdrawn and cut up at BREAL in Derby in July 1981.
