Ukrainian 🇺🇦 Metinvests 2ТЭ10М Class diesel, numbered 2013, after a long journey from the Lithuanian border town of Sestokai 🇱🇹 to Sędziszów in southern Poland 🇵🇱 has reached its half way point of its journey, being re-gauged back to 5ft Gauge Rails!

This 2ТЭ10М was recently overhauled at DLRR Daugavpils Locomotive Repair facility in Latvia 🇱🇻 and is now finally returning to its owner after a months delay. The engine is destined for Metinvests iron ore mine in Krzywy Róg in Ukraine 🇺🇦 where after arrival it will be put back into service hauling iron ore out of the mine pits. This is the third time a transport like this has ever happened and it looks like it won't be the only one (for now) 😉
