One of the reasons, I ended up in Sydney for a short time is to see the unique ‘F1’ trainset.

F1 is a collection of Single Decker passenger cars, dating as far back as 1929. Many of these carriages were saved in a bid for suburban electric preservation in the 1980s.

Red Heritage Trainset F1 is currently under the care of Historic Electric Traction and operated by Sydney Trains.

(Something that was pointed out to me) C3426 was leading F1 towards East Hills. C3426 was the leading motor car that led the first train over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
